About The Position

As a Dental Assistant at Aspen Dental, you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors and help provide patient care in the community. The role includes assisting with treatment procedures, managing patient flow, maintaining infection control, educating patients about oral hygiene, and completing clinical and office tasks. Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
• Complete patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with the practice team to support patient satisfaction.
