About The Position

Aspen Dental is hiring a part-time Endodontist Dental Assistant to support the clinical needs of patients and doctors. The assistant will work chair-side with the Specialist during treatment procedures and help provide patient care at nearby offices. The role also includes taking dental X-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, setting up and breaking down the operatory after treatment, educating patients about oral hygiene, completing office tasks, and collaborating with the dental team. This position requires daily travel to assigned offices.

Requirements

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including X-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, non-restricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance, or the ability to be insured under the employer’s fleet insurance program if assigned a company fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
• Assist the Specialist chair-side during treatment procedures as needed.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Perform office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide patient care.
