Dental Assistant - Entry Level
About The Position
Aspen Dental is hiring an entry-level Dental Assistant. No dental experience or certification is required. The position includes paid, hands-on training through a partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), paid training to obtain radiology and safety certifications, and a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). The Dental Assistant works alongside a dental team to support treatment procedures, patient care, infection control, charting, and office tasks. Schedule availability varies by independently owned and operated location, with part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling offered. The stated salary is $19–$20 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
- Manage infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Support patient charting for doctors.
- Perform office tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide patient care.
