About The Position

Pediatric Dentistry of Monsey is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join their growing practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a collaborative, upbeat environment and wants to build their career in dental care while positively impacting young patients and their families. The position is an in-person role located in Monsey, NY.

Requirements

• 1+ year of dental or orthodontic assistant experience, OR Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
• X-ray license preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with dental charting and treatment planning
• Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor-especially with kids
• Willingness to relocate to Monsey, NY if not local

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric dental experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during exams and procedures (chairside support)
• Take dental X-rays and support hygiene appointments
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Set up and clean operatories, manage supply inventory
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
• Educate, comfort, and engage pediatric patients during their visit
• Assist with front office duties as needed
