We are seeking an experienced, dependable chairside Dental Assistant for a hands-on, in-person role. The position supports general and restorative procedures and extends beyond clinical assistance to helping patients understand recommended treatment, costs, insurance estimates, and payment or financing options. The assistant is expected to schedule the next visit before the patient leaves, maintain appointment confirmations, help manage provider schedules, and coordinate closely with the front desk and clinical team. Reliable attendance for the full scheduled shift, patient-focused engagement, professionalism, teamwork, and a high standard of personal presentation are essential. The work includes extended periods in a chairside position, repetitive fine-motor tasks, moving between operatories and other office areas, and exposure to blood, saliva, radiation, disinfectants, and dental materials. Required protective equipment and safety protocols must be followed. Physical requirements must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The hiring process consists of a phone screen followed by an in-office working interview. The employer contacts prior employers for references, including questions about attendance, dependability, and teamwork; applicants should provide at least two supervisor references. Offers are contingent on satisfactory reference and background checks. New team members complete a 90-day introductory period.
