About The Position

This is an entry-level Dental Assistant role; no dental experience or certification is required to apply. The position includes paid, hands-on training through Aspen Dental’s partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), with a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Dental Assistants work alongside a team to support patient care and help serve their community. The listed salary is $18–$20 per hour. Scheduling varies by independently owned and operated location; part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling are available. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
Manage infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Support patient charting for doctors.
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
