About The Position

Perth-Andover Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our professional and patient-focused team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting dentists during clinical procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

Requirements

• Dental Assistant diploma or recognized training.
• Valid certification and/or license to practice, as required by provincial regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dental clinic experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments in accordance with established protocols.
• Welcome patients and help ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
• Accurately update and maintain patient records.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering clinical supplies.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control standards and clinic policies.
