About The Position

A well-established dental clinic in Gatineau is looking for two Dental Hygienists to join its team. Two opportunities are available depending on your availability: 1 permanent full-time position – 40 hours per week, and 1 permanent part-time position – 1 to 2 days per week. Whether you are a recent graduate or have several years of experience, we would love to meet you! As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in prevention, patient education, and the delivery of oral health care. You will help improve your patients' oral health while providing a professional, compassionate, and reassuring experience. You will join a team where collaboration, respect, and quality patient care are at the heart of everything we do.

Requirements

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Dental Hygiene or an equivalent qualification
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des hygiénistes dentaires du Québec
• Bilingual in French and English to effectively serve a diverse clientele
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach
• Professional, organized, and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene examinations and assessments
• Provide dental cleanings, scaling, and preventive treatments
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with professional standards
• Educate and guide patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate closely with dentists and other members of the dental team
• Follow all infection prevention, safety standards, and clinic protocols
• Help create a warm, caring, and positive experience for every patient
