About The Position

Emergency Dental is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support its growing team and increasing patient base. The practice specializes in same-day treatment and needs someone who can provide excellent patient care while keeping pace with a fast-moving clinical environment. The ideal candidate is positive, compassionate, dependable, self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable multitasking and learning quickly. The role may include tasks beyond typical RDA duties as needed to support the team.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in the dental field.
Registered to take radiographs and hold the necessary certifications.
Knowledge of Dentrix and digital radiographs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Availability to work weekends.
Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and work flexibly as needed.
Team-oriented approach and willingness to take on tasks beyond normal RDA duties.
Outgoing, positive, reliable, dependable, self-motivated, and compassionate demeanor.

Nice To Haves

Five years of experience is preferred, with strong OS and Endo skills.
Multilingual ability is preferred but not required.
Experience with root canals, extractions, implants, endodontics, and periodontics.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms.
Assist the doctor during examinations and treatment procedures.
Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
Complete patient charting and ensure charts contain necessary forms before treatment.
Clean and sterilize instruments without cross-contamination.
Take patient records, including panoramic, periapical, and bitewing images.
Perform equipment maintenance.
Stock and maintain the clinical work area.
Multitask and work in a fast-paced, same-day treatment environment.
Maintain a welcoming and attractive office environment.
Maintain confidentiality of business and client information.
Answer phones and schedule appointments.
Present treatment plans.
