About The Position
Eastern Dental is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant at Eastern Dental of Eatontown LLC in Oakhurst, New Jersey. The role supports patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their questions and concerns, charting, taking digital x-rays, and assisting dentists chairside. Previous dental assistant experience and a New Jersey Dental X-Ray License are required. Experience with Denticon is preferred. Eastern Dental states that employee and patient safety is its top priority and that it follows Dental Association and CDC recommendations.
Requirements
- Previous dental assistant experience.
- New Jersey Dental X-Ray License.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong multitasking skills.

- Experience with Denticon.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and departure.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns, escalating them when needed.
- Perform charting.
- Take patients’ digital x-rays.
- Provide chairside dental assistance.
- Perform other tasks as necessary.
