Dental Assistant - Entry Level
About The Position
This entry-level Dental Assistant role requires no prior dental experience or certification. The Dental Assistant receives paid, hands-on training through Aspen Dental’s partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), with a pathway toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). The position supports dentists and the broader dental team in delivering patient care at Aspen Dental-branded practices, which are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists. The role is full-time, with schedules varying by location; part-time and flexible scheduling may also be available. The stated salary range is $18–$20 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Support patient charting for doctors.
- Perform office tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
