About The Position
Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant! We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at Wyoming Smiles Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you are passionate about dental care and helping patients achieve their best smiles, this role is for you.
Requirements
- Valid x-ray certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Experience taking impressions and pouring models.
- Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as fillings, crown/bridge prep, extractions.
- Ability to set up and break down operatories.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dental software (Open Dental) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
- Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
