About The Position

Aspen Dental is hiring an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant to support the clinical needs of patients and doctors. The role includes assisting with treatment procedures, taking dental X-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and helping maintain infection control. The assistant also educates patients about oral hygiene, performs office tasks, and collaborates with the dental team to provide patient care. The position requires daily travel to assigned nearby offices and offers training, career development, and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including X-ray certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid, non-restricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance, or the ability to be insured under the employer’s fleet insurance program when assigned a company fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Take dental X-rays.
Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
