About The Position

Dental Health Associates (DHA), a locally owned, doctor-led dental practice in the Madison, Wisconsin community, is hiring a Dental Assistant for its Fitchburg clinic. The assistant will work closely with Dr. Beth Wagner and support the delivery of patient care in a collaborative environment that emphasizes relationships, teamwork, growth, and continuous learning. The position includes assisting with dental procedures, supporting patient comfort and education, maintaining instruments and records, and helping with administrative tasks as needed. The role is full-time and performed in person. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.

Dental assistant experience is preferred.
Dental Assistant certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and hand instruments to the doctor during procedures.
Take and process dental X-rays to aid diagnosis.
Prepare and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and general oral hygiene.
Sterilize and organize dental tools and equipment.
Provide comfort and support to patients during procedures.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling or confirming appointments.
