About The Position
St. Matthews Family Dental is expanding and searching for an EDDA (Expanded Duty Dental Assistant) to join their team. This is a full-time position in a long-standing private practice that emphasizes teamwork, accessible leadership, and patient-centered care. The role is hands-on and crucial for maintaining a smooth patient schedule.
Requirements
- EDDA and Coronal Polishing certified
- CPR certified with active KY X-Ray certification
- Available Monday-Friday
- Dependable and eager to learn
- Positive, professional, and patient-focused

Responsibilities
- Set up and break down treatment rooms with efficiency
- Assist chairside and stay one step ahead during procedures
- Create natural-looking temporary restorations
- Take high-quality intraoral photos
- Pour and trim study models
- Polish removable appliances
- Keep instruments sterilized and OSHA standards top of mind
- Enter thorough, accurate chart notes
- Help patients feel calm, informed, and cared for
