About The Position
The Dental Assistant Trainee will support patient care in a respectful, supportive dental practice. The role includes preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and delivering instruments, positioning instruments for the dentist, suctioning, passing instruments, and completing clinical notes before patients are dismissed. The practice emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, modern tools and techniques, and work-life balance. Employment is temp to hire, and any offer is contingent on successfully passing a background check, including a drug screen.
Requirements
- CPR/X-ray certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Successfully pass a background check, including a drug screen, as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients.
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to the treatment area.
- Position instruments for the dentist’s access, suction, and pass instruments.
- Complete clinical notes before dismissing patients.
