Dental Assistant (TMJ/Orofacial Pain)

Successful candidates for this role must open to both back office clinical responsibilities, as well as some front office administrative duties. Our practice, New York TMJ & Orofacial Pain, is located at 812 Wheeler Rd Ste 108, Hauppauge, NY 11788. Requirements
- Prior dental assisting experience required.
- Must have experience with digital radiography, CBCT, intraoral scanning (iTero, Trios, etc.) and lab case management.
- Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
- A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
- Assist the Dentist through a variety of procedures and managing lab case/deliveries
- Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
- Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
- Answering phones promptly and responding to messages
- Managing scheduled - scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Entering new patient records and updating ledgers with precision (Denticon)
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
