About The Position

Smile New York Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant Team Leader in Bronx, NY and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

Requirements

• CPR certification card
• Working experience as a Dental Assistant
• Working experience with Digital X-ray's
• Experience with patient charting (paper forms, charting tooth surfaces)
• Valid Driver's License, and a willingness to travel to schools within the boroughs
• Works well with children
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
