Full-Time Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant
About The Position
Our offices in Chula Vista, CA are searching for an enthusiastic and professional Dental Assistant (DA) / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team! For this position, time will be split between our two sister offices which are less than a mile down the road from each other. As an RDA with us, you’ll enjoy a dynamic role that combines hands-on patient care with opportunities to expand your expertise. Whether assisting chairside during crown preps, capturing crystal-clear digital X-rays, or contributing to front desk operations, your work will make a real impact. Please note our office is taking every appropriate measure to keep our team members & patients safe with proper use of PPE.
Requirements
- RDA License and CPR card are required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with crown prep
- Ability to take clean digital X-rays
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft Required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with iTero and Perio protect trays is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor in all 4-handed dentistry procedures.
- Perform all RDA functions.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Ensures adherence to infection control standards, OSHA regulations, and other state/clinic policies.
- Ordering supplies and managing supply inventory
- Willingness to help in both front and back offices
