Full-Time Dental Assistant
About The Position
Our patient-focused dental practice in Temecula, California is seeking a motivated and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to become a valued member of our expanding team. In this role, you will support both clinical and administrative functions, playing an integral part in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include chairside assisting during crown preparations, obtaining accurate digital radiographs, and assisting with select front office tasks as needed. This position offers variety and the opportunity to further develop your skill set in a collaborative environment. Please note our office is taking every appropriate measure to keep our team members & patients safe with proper use of PPE.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Experience with crown preparations
- Experience with digital X-ray imaging
- Current RDA license
- CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft
- Experience with iTero
- Experience with Perio protect trays
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor in all 4-handed dentistry procedures.
- Perform all RDA functions.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Ensures adherence to infection control standards, OSHA regulations, and other state/clinic policies.
- Ordering supplies and managing supply inventory
