About The Position

GVR Dental, an established family dental practice in Green Valley Ranch, is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant or EDDA. The role supports the dentist and patient care in a supportive team environment, with opportunities to learn and grow with the team long-term. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., plus the third Saturday of each month, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or EDDA.
Outgoing, reliable, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Desire to learn and grow within a team long-term.
Active CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
X-Ray Certification.

Nice To Haves

Certified Dental Assistant certification preferred.
EDDA experience preferred.
At least 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or EDDA.

Responsibilities

Review and update patients’ health histories.
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies for each operatory as needed.
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations.
Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry.
Provide post-operative care instructions.
Assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
