About The Position
The Dental Assistant Instructor delivers quality educational instruction and helps students develop the technical and soft skills needed to secure employment in their new careers. The role supports students through their education and helps them determine their educational goals. Teaching experience is not required; training will be provided. Requirements vary by state.
Requirements
- For California schools: At least 3 years of experience in the dental field and an RDA license; the applicant must have held the RDA license for 3 years and maintain a valid, current license throughout employment.
- For California schools: X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications.
- For Florida schools: EFDA qualification unless the individual graduated from a CODA-accredited school, and at least 5 years of experience.
- For Georgia schools: CDA, EDDA, or EFDA certificate, or 3 years of experience.
- For Arizona schools: An Arizona Board-approved certificate in Radiology.
- Thirty-six months of combined related industry and/or teaching experience.
