About The Position

Charter College is seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced part-time Dental Assistant instructors to teach in the evenings a blended course environment for their Pasco, WA campus. Requirements

Current Certification in Dental Assisting
Registered Dental Assistant
Two (2) years of experience in the field
Excellent customer service skills
High school or equivalent
Dental Assisting: 2 years
Registered Dental Assistant
Ability to commute/relocate: Pasco, WA 99301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Are you able to teach in the evenings 1-2 times a week from 6-10PM?

Experience in a blended teaching environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare for each course to be taught a syllabus consistent with course descriptions.
Impress upon students the importance of exhibiting appropriate conduct in the workplace.
Acquire feedback to determine whether students understand each segment of the course.
Maintain academic standards.
Evaluate students' progress often and share those evaluations with them promptly.
Be available to students with concerns.
Review and be guided by student evaluations of instruction.
Play an intricate role in student retention efforts.
Serve on faculty committees.
Attend and participate in official college functions.
Keep on file the official transcripts of your formal studies.
Enroll in such courses of study and participate in such programs of professional growth.
