Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in dental assisting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work well within a team

Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
- Serving as an infection control officer
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- Providing instructions for post-treatment oral care
- Teaching oral hygiene strategies
- Taking impressions of patients' teeth
- Assisting in all dental specialties
