Requirements
- Three (3) years of general dental assistant job experience
- Must obtain Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification within one (1) year of hire
- One (1) year experience in pediatric and/or orthodontic assisting
Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance using four-handed techniques
- Patient education
- Support restorative, surgical, orthodontic, and pediatric dental care
- Perform prophys, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Assist with triage duties for emergency care situations
- Train and mentor new team members
