About The Position
Smile North Carolina, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant II in Fayetteville, NC and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school working full-time. Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.
Requirements
- NC X-ray Licensed
- Coronal Polishing DA I or II
- CPR /BLS certified
- Working experience as a Dental Assistant
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to schools across counties
- Works well with children
- Team player and able to work on a small team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
- Digital X-ray Imaging
- Patient Records Charting
- Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
- Travel Daily to and from school site
