Requirements

Dental Assistant certification.
X-ray certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in dental procedures and instrument handling.
Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort.

Responsibilities

Support the dentist during procedures by managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
Capture dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options.
Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems.
Follow sterilization and disinfection protocols.
Help manage and confirm patient appointments.
Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and provide support.
