About The Position

Pleasant Family Dentistry is seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to oversee a high-performing, multi-provider practice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This senior-level role is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and culture of a large, 4-doctor dental office. The position requires a leader who can successfully manage a complex, high-volume environment, develop team members, and drive strong business results. The role involves partnering closely with doctors and team leaders to ensure alignment on goals, operational consistency, and an exceptional patient experience, while building a high-performing, engaged team. Requirements

Proven dental office management experience, ideally in a high-volume or multi-provider setting
Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable
Business acumen with experience managing KPIs, financial performance, and operational workflows
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment
A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a positive team culture
High school diploma or equivalent
3–5+ years of dental office management experience required
Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and practice management systems
Experience with dental software platforms (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Denticon)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in large or multi-provider practices strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Coach, mentor, and develop front office and clinical support leaders, fostering accountability, engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee workflows, staffing coordination, and daily systems to ensure efficient patient flow and consistency across all providers within the practice.
Monitor and drive key performance indicators including production, collections, scheduling optimization, and expense management, in partnership with doctors and leadership.
Collaborate with doctors to align on practice goals, implement initiatives, and support long-term growth and success.
Ensure a consistently high-quality, patient-first experience through strong communication, service standards, and operational execution across the entire practice.
