POSITION SUMMARY The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for executing and continuously improving Radwell's demand forecasting, supply planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. This role connects customer demand signals to inventory replenishment decisions, helping the organization maintain high service levels, optimize inventory investment, and support profitable growth across domestic and international operations. Reporting to the Planning & Inventory Management Director, this position plays a critical role in translating planning system outputs into actionable business decisions while partnering closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Inventory Management teams. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, forecasting expertise, supply chain knowledge, and cross-functional leadership skills to drive planning excellence across the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management processes
  • Experience supporting S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
  • Understanding of statistical forecasting methodologies and demand planning principles
  • Experience with MRP, DRP, APS, or replenishment planning systems
  • Experience with Power BI or related business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization and supply chain planning concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required
  • 4–7 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or a related supply chain function

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with planning software such as Slimstock, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-site supply chain operations preferred
  • International supply chain experience is a plus
  • Experience utilizing AI-enabled forecasting or planning tools is a plus
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
  • IBF Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) preferred
  • Additional planning, analytics, or supply chain certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical trends, sales input, and market intelligence
  • Incorporate promotional activity, new product launches, product transitions, and end-of-life planning into forecast models
  • Manage forecast adjustments and exception processes to improve overall forecast accuracy
  • Leverage digital demand signals, including e-commerce data, market intelligence platforms, and third-party sources to improve forecasting performance
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias metrics and drive corrective actions through root-cause analysis
  • Maintain forecasting models and planning parameters within company planning systems
  • Manage demand planning for new product introductions and product lifecycle transitions
  • Prepare demand planning inputs and recommendations for the monthly S&OP process
  • Execute supply replenishment recommendations and translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans
  • Generate and review replenishment plans utilizing MRP/DRP planning methodologies
  • Manage planning exceptions including projected stockouts, delayed purchase orders, demand spikes, and supplier constraints
  • Partner with Procurement to maintain accurate lead times, supplier performance metrics, and replenishment parameters
  • Support supplier capacity planning and sourcing strategies through long-range supply visibility
  • Collaborate on contingency planning and supply disruption mitigation efforts
  • Continuously improve planning parameters, safety stock settings, lead times, and replenishment logic
  • Support the monthly S&OP process through reporting, analysis, and planning recommendations
  • Prepare demand and supply reviews, gap analysis reports, and exception management reporting
  • Present planning insights, supply risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Develop and maintain planning metrics, reports, dashboards, and process documentation
  • Partner with Inventory Management to ensure planning outputs align with inventory strategies
  • Monitor forecast performance, inventory health, service levels, and supply execution metrics
  • Track fill rates, stockout performance, supplier delivery metrics, and inventory-related KPIs
  • Maintain planning dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and other business intelligence platforms
  • Deliver actionable planning insights and recommendations to leadership teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory performance, and planning efficiency
  • Support implementation of planning best practices, technologies, automation, and AI-driven forecasting tools
  • Participate in cross-functional and international supply chain improvement initiatives
  • Drive adoption of planning methodologies and systems throughout the organization
