Requirements

  • Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting methodologies, and S&OP processes in a CPG or high-volume distribution environment.
  • Ability to develop and manage rolling demand forecasts at SKU, customer, and channel levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis of forecast variances.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to analyze large datasets and build forecast models.
  • Ability to integrate inputs from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain into a consensus demand plan.
  • Experience using ERP, planning, or trade promotion systems to support demand forecasting.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and communicate forecast performance metrics (forecast accuracy, bias, service levels).
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of sales drivers, promotions, and supply constraints.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting, or related analytics roles.
  • Experience in CPG, beverage, food, or other high-volume distribution environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting S&OP or integrated business planning processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for forecasting, analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Experience using ERP, demand planning, or forecasting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • SAP - IBP preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple demand inputs, including sales forecasts, promotions, and product launches.
  • Experience analyzing forecast accuracy, bias, and service-level performance.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 10% for cross-functional meetings or planning sessions.
  • Ability to work extended hours during key S&OP cycles, peak seasons, or reporting periods.
  • Comfortable working with global and regional teams across different time zones.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift or move typical office materials up to ten pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts (weekly and monthly) at the SKU, customer, channel, and distributor levels for the U.S. and Canada businesses, utilizing statistical models and informed business judgment.
  • Integrate demand inputs from Sales (customer plans, pipeline, distributor insights), Marketing (promotions, campaigns, product launches).
  • Assist with Demand Review as part of Electrolit's monthly S&OP cycle, preparing demand assumptions, risks, and opportunities for cross-functional alignment.
  • Partner closely with Supply Planning to ensure demand plans are feasible, aligned, and support service and inventory objectives.
  • Track, analyze, and report forecast performance metrics, including Forecast Accuracy (MAPE/WAPE), Forecast Bias, service levels, and fill rates.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variances and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support planning, execution, and leadership decision-making.
  • Challenge assumptions constructively and provide data-driven insights to support Key Account and Sales planning.
  • Support Annual Business Planning (ABP), quarterly forecasting cycles, and ad hoc business planning requirements.
  • Develop scenario analyses for demand shifts, promotional changes, new product launches, and distribution changes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting volume, revenue, and service performance.
  • Enhance forecasting methodologies, planning tools, and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and standardization as Electrolit scales.
  • Support the implementation, optimization, and adoption of ERP, TPM, and forecasting systems.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support organizational and business needs.
