About The Position

The Demand Planner will lead and maintain the demand review process across all business lines by managing the statistical forecast, incorporating sales inputs, and supporting new and discontinued products. This role collaborates with cross-functional business partners to create an unbiased demand plan that drives operational efficiency across the supply chain. The Demand Planner will analyze large data sets to continuously improve forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and apply continuous improvement best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3–5 years of demand planning and forecasting experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with S&OP, IBP or other related process preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business partners at all levels to improve process and drive business results.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred), Forecasting tools (GIB DCF), BI Tools (Power BI/Tableau), and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials and participate in monthly Sales & Operations cross ‑ functional meetings, including RBE sales calls, Supply Review sessions, and Executive Leadership presentations, while leading the monthly Demand Review process through full preparation and facilitation for the S&OP group.
  • Provide sales metrics, market trends and long-term sales planning to ensure alignment between inventory and forecasted demand.
  • Create and maintain all stages of the demand plan including maintenance of statistical forecast models, improvement of forecast accuracy, data cleansing, and forecast hierarchies to achieve minimal forecast error.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance to leverage customer insights and market trends, contributing to cross ‑ functional dialogue that challenges assumptions and drives informed decision ‑ making.
  • Support new product launches across the globe as part of the new product team and support product transitions (as needed).
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing current processes and implementing new forecasting methodologies, tools, and techniques to reduce effort and improve results.
  • Lead the SKU rationalization process to evaluate our product portfolio, identify and remove underperforming items, and improve efficiency and profitability across the supply chain.
  • Partner with the finance team to support the annual budget process by providing historical sales data and future statistical modeling to help align sales targets for the upcoming year.
  • Communicate with executive and commercial stakeholders.
