Demand Planner
About The Position

We are currently hiring a Demand Planner at our location in Turlock, CA. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the demand forecast for finished goods across assigned product categories. This role integrates data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to generate accurate demand signals that drive production planning, inventory optimization, and service level performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred
- Strong skills in spreadsheet analysis, forecasting, and data interpretation
- Experience using enterprise planning systems and reporting tools
- Understanding of sales and operations planning processes and inventory management principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the demand and sales planning process to create accurate forecasts across customers, products, and sales channels
- Analyze sales history, seasonal trends, and business insights to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance
- Partner with sales, product management, operations, finance, and procurement teams to align demand with supply capabilities
- Facilitate monthly planning and demand review meetings to support business goals and operational readiness
- Maintain accurate planning and customer information within enterprise resource planning systems
- Monitor customer orders, shipment schedules, and material availability to help ensure timely delivery
- Develop reports, dashboards, and key performance measures to support continuous improvement efforts
