About The Position

The Demand Planner will collaborate with the internal team at Kondex to create an achievable production plan that aligns with our customers’ needs and our internal ability to execute.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of manufacturing experience in a complex, integrated manufacturing environment
  • One or more years with Epicor or advanced ERP software experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics or related fields, or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • Five or more years of scheduling experience preferred
  • Highly desirable behavioral competencies include customer focus, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, ability to multi-task, decisive judgment, detail oriented, follow through, active communication, organizing and planning, tenacity, adaptability, listening skills, problem solving and results orientation

Responsibilities

  • Using data analytics and sales insights, plan Manufacturing activities to maximize efficiencies and ensure our internal and external customer demands are consistently met.
  • Make decisions based on material and equipment availability proactively to ensure products are manufactured on time.
  • Assist in setting and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Facilitate the cycle count process, performing weekly audits of Team Leader counts, and maintain and communicate related reports and KPI’s.
  • Assist the sales and customer service teams to expedite customer orders as needed.
  • Work with Purchasing to expedite outside process orders as needed. Work with internal team on new product development and implement production plan.
  • Provide input to the Sales and Operations Planning Process.
  • Actively participate in capacity planning.
  • Actively participate in information systems improvements.
