The opportunity now is to join a rocketship as we prepare for the next stage of growth, and an eventual public listing. This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • 1-year professional experience in advanced analytical skills and data-driven decision-making: Strong mathematical and statistical capabilities, with advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel to manage complex projects, analyze databases, and address issues with a long-term, strategic perspective.
  • Thorough understanding of inventory management: Comprehensive knowledge of inventory practices and procedures, especially in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 year of experience in the position Demand Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Analyst or related position

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily guidance and oversight to the category while working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and analyze demand forecast risks, and develop effective mitigation plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by regularly planning and updating forecasts for new products, seasonal items, discounts, promotions & new regions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues in a timely and accurate manner, and maintain demand planning processes to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives, and provide routine and ad-hoc demand related reports to management.
  • Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels in the warehouse through effective inventory planning, working with vendors to ensure optimal delivery performance.
  • Build constructive and effective cross-functional relationships with a broad group of business partners
  • Conduct projects like using SQL to create dashboards that deliver insights and empower demand forecasting teams to make data-driven decisions.
