About The Position

Guild is looking for a Demand Generation Lead to build and own the demand generation function. This is a high-impact, foundational hire where you will define the strategy, build the programs, and scale the systems to convert market awareness into qualified pipeline. Guild has strong product-market traction, a growing brand in the agent governance space, and an active content engine. This role will build the demand infrastructure around that foundation, establishing multi-channel campaigns, paid programs, and funnel operations to reach engineering leaders with the right message at the right time. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Marketing, CMO, and VP of Sales. This role requires someone who is adept at both strategy and execution, capable of architecting campaign plans as well as writing ad copy, configuring automation, and analyzing results.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years in B2B demand generation, ideally at infrastructure, developer tools, or enterprise software companies, with a track record of building programs that delivered measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Enterprise marketing experience, understanding the nuances of marketing to developers versus the leaders who manage them, with experience running campaigns targeting senior technical buyers.
  • Hands-on experience with paid channels including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and landing page optimization, including managing significant budgets, optimizing for downstream pipeline metrics, and building campaigns tied to specific buyer use cases.
  • Comfort with hands-on execution, including building workflows in marketing automation tools, writing ad and email copy, configuring UTM tracking, and setting up reporting.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in building attribution models, diagnosing issues, and forming solutions, thinking in terms of funnels and conversion rates.
  • AI fluency, including current use of AI tools and a credible understanding of the agent ecosystem, control planes, governance importance, and enterprise AI deployment considerations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, bringing structure to ambiguity and adapting quickly as the market and strategy evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Own inbound pipeline by building and scaling multi-channel demand gen programs including paid search, paid social, content distribution, events, and partnerships to drive qualified pipeline for sales.
  • Design and execute use-case-specific paid campaigns with dedicated landing pages mapped to real buyer problems, building proper attribution and optimizing for pipeline, not just traffic.
  • Develop programs that resonate with technical decision-makers, including Director-level and above at companies actively deploying AI agents (e.g., VP of Engineering, Head of Platform, CIO), across the channels they engage with.
  • Optimize the full funnel by instrumenting lead scoring, nurture sequences, and attribution frameworks; analyzing performance across the buyer journey, identifying conversion gaps, and iterating to improve pipeline quality and velocity.
  • Build the distribution and promotion engine to turn Guild's thought leadership, long-form content, and podcast appearances into demand through syndication, repurposing, targeted promotion, and conversion optimization.
  • Experiment and iterate by testing new channels, messaging, and targeting approaches to keep the demand gen playbook evolving with the rapidly changing AI agent market.
  • Contribute to GEO strategy by measuring and optimizing how Guild appears in AI-powered discovery channels alongside traditional SEO, recognizing the growing importance of LLM citation share.
