About The Position
Oakwood Group is looking for a data-driven, analytical Demand Analyst to join our MP&L team. As a Demand Analyst, you will play a critical role in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in a business-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of demand planning/forecasting experience in automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (IQMS preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and statistical models to forecast product demand
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments
- Track forecast accuracy across customers, products, and programs
- Lead demand & supply review meetings and support S&OP processes
- Develop and maintain KPIs (forecast bias, variability, value-added)
- Identify capacity constraints and implement action plans
- Drive process improvements across scheduling, logistics, and inventory management
