The American Leather factory is unique to the furniture industry. It allows us to create custom luxury furniture right here in Dallas, Texas, and deliver it to consumers' homes via our retail partners in about 30 days. Requirements

• Must be able to work in a climate-controlled environment.
• Continuous standing up to 8-10 hours per shift.
• Occasional bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent gripping and positioning of foam.
• Frequent lifting of furniture (10lbs.-200lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Read traveler for correct components of the frame style, deck label, law label, leg color, suspension, shipping label and other options as required.
• Inspect piece for seams strait, sewing correct, leather, and law label and mechanism inspection as required by line.
• Make furniture ready by ensuring finished product is clean and ready to ship.
• Repair work as required.
• Work with Cushion stuffers and packagers as required.
• Ability to recognize proper nuts, bolts, and screws per style.
• Ability to assemble frame and or mechanisms to the frames as required.
• Ability to inspect work as being upholstered and this includes sewing mistakes and bad leather or fabric.
• Must check seams and quality when piece is complete.
