About The Position

Valleysoft is a regional IT services provider delivering enterprise applications, process management, cloud, and data solutions to global clients. This role focuses on building and supporting integration solutions that connect critical platforms, improve data flow, and help delivery teams bring robust services into production. The consultant designs, develops, tests, debugs, deploys, and supports scalable APIs and middleware integrations. The work includes Dell Boomi AtomSphere and Microsoft Azure API services, API-first product development, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, and integrations across SAP and other enterprise systems. The role also supports API management, production operations, cross-functional delivery, and technical documentation.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in API and middleware integration design, development, testing, delivery, and support.
3–5 years of Dell Boomi development experience.
2–5 years of Azure API development experience.
Experience implementing and supporting at least three full projects.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting integration issues, monitoring messages and status, configuring alerts, tuning performance, and handling multiple concurrent production support cases.
Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including JSON and XML for API data models and specifications, and creating API specifications using OpenAPI or Swagger.
Experience with API orchestration, implementing API security controls, and applying API-first design methodology and API design best practices.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional project and support teams throughout integration design, development, testing, delivery, and production support.
Fluency in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ESB, JMS, Kafka, MDM, ETL technologies, SQL databases, or Microsoft Event Hub.
Experience with Java, Groovy, or JavaScript for integration development.
Prior experience with SAP ERP.
Experience with SAP IS-Auto or SAP IS Retail integrations, particularly in automotive or retail contexts.
Experience with Broadcom/CA API Management.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and support scalable APIs and middleware integration solutions.
Build and maintain integrations using Dell Boomi AtomSphere and Microsoft Azure API services.
Create high-performance, consumer-friendly API products using API-first principles, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
Implement synchronous and asynchronous APIs, including orchestration, security, metering, and management controls.
Design and optimize integrations across SAP and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, ESB, JMS, Kafka, databases, and ETL technologies.
Support API management solutions, preferably Broadcom/CA API Management.
Collaborate with SAP and cross-functional teams throughout design, delivery, testing, and deployment.
Monitor integration messages, troubleshoot failures, configure alerts, tune performance, administer middleware, and manage concurrent production support cases.
Follow Agile, DevSecOps, API design, and development best practices.
Maintain technical documentation, system requirements, design specifications, and support procedures.
