About The Position

This position involves delivering fresh produce to customers approximately 70% of the day, and assisting in the warehouse about 30% of the time. Responsibilities include using pallet jacks and forklifts for stocking and picking products. The role requires a good driving history, the ability to deliver products using a company van, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to help in the warehouse as needed. The company is part of the Cash-Wa Distributing Family, a large privately-owned food service distributor in the Midwest, offering growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving history
• Must have or be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• Ability to lift 10-30 lbs up to 50% of the time
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs up to 30% of the time
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs up to 20% of the time

Nice To Haves

• Pallet jack and forklift experience helpful
• Warehouse experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Safely drive product from the warehouse to the customer location
• Deliver 4k-7k pounds of produce by hand and two-wheel dolly
• Place product in the location desired by the customer
• Put incoming products into established slots
• Pick orders per pick tickets
• Pack product for delivery in a manner that prevents damage
• Load your own cube can/straight truck
