About The Position
West Central Equipment is a well-established John Deere Agricultural and Turf Equipment Sales and Service Company with multiple locations in Western and Central Pennsylvania. We have an opening at our Ebensburg location for a Part-Time Driver. The primary purpose of this position is to pickup and deliver equipment to customers.
Requirements
- Driver's License (CDL not needed but is a plus)
- Medical Card for truck drivers is required
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to operate, or learn to operate, a forklift and skid loader safely
- Ability to operate, or learn to operate, tractors, mowers and other ag and mowing equipment
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ag and turf equipment and parts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks
- Unload incoming shipments of equipment as needed
- Drive company trucks to transport equipment to and from customer locations
- Demonstrate features of equipment to customers as needed upon delivery
- Other duties as assigned by managers
