About The Position

At Amarr Garage Doors, a part of ASSA ABLOY, we are seeking the best people to join our team in New Berlin, WI. This is a physically demanding role involving consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. The position requires safe and timely deliveries to customers, adherence to the Driver Handbook, and maintaining driver certification documents. Additionally, you will assist with warehouse duties when not driving, including accurately loading and unloading customers' orders and receiving incoming product, while inspecting for any damaged materials.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
• Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.
• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.
