Requirements

  • Clean driving record with experience safely operating commercial vehicles, including a manual (stick-shift) transmission truck.
  • Experience with waste industry equipment is a plus.
  • Has a DOT medical card or is willing to obtain one.
  • Confidently use a smartphone and mobile applications to receive assignments, navigate routes, document deliveries, and communicate with dispatch throughout the day.
  • Build positive relationships by communicating professionally and delivering reliable, courteous service at every customer location.
  • Take pride in representing Cauler Containers with integrity, supporting your teammates, and helping us continue our reputation for providing waste services above and beyond.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds and handling regular bending, kneeling, and climbing in and out of the truck.
  • Driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Deliver carts safely and efficiently to residential customers, ensuring carts are placed accurately and safely according to customer requests and company guidelines.
  • Retrieve carts promptly while following established safety procedures and providing exceptional customer service at every stop.
  • Operate company vehicles according to all traffic laws and Cauler Containers' safety standards while driving a manual (stick-shift) transmission truck.
  • Inspect your truck and equipment before and after each shift to help ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Utilize a company mobile application (app) on your smartphone to receive assignments, navigate routes, document deliveries, communicate job completion, and stay connected with dispatch while working independently throughout the day.
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and complete required documentation in a timely manner while communicating effectively with dispatch regarding schedule changes, delays, or customer concerns.
  • Represent Cauler Containers with a positive attitude by building lasting customer relationships through dependable, courteous service while protecting our equipment and our customers' property.
