Delivery Merchandiser
About The Position
The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for following a driver to merchandise retail accounts. This role is nonexempt and reports to the Delivery Manager. Primary Objective Functions Fill, rotate, and merchandise products in cold vaults, shelves and displays. Move product from pallets to cooler to stock using a hand truck. Organize, rotate, and maintain backroom coolers for easy access. Maintain professional behavior with all accounts serviced. The Delivery Merchandiser assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Delivery Manager and Area Delivery Managers. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to: Attendance, Appearance, Professionalism, Retailer Satisfaction, Performance (SSM), and All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers
- Maintain a smartphone with data plan capable of operating delivery software
- Broad knowledge of company objectives
- Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
- Ability to read and understand merchandise pricing and invoicing
- Excellent computer skills in all applicable programs
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 60 months
- Driving record free of significant violations and meeting company policies and standards
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
