About The Position

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers help safely and accurately deliver materials from the warehouse to job sites. They unload orders according to customer specifications using delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts, and may specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries. Rooftop delivery work involves physically working on rooftops. The role may also include providing warehouse support and assisting with unloading and staging products at jobsites. Employees are expected to perform all duties safely.

Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift 75–100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Adherence to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a CDL.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are securely prepared for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging products at jobsites as assigned.
• Perform all duties safely.
