About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a Delivery Material Handler/Roof Loader to assist with safe, accurate deliveries of building materials from the warehouse to customer and job-site locations. The role involves unloading orders to customer specifications using delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers may specialize in ground or rooftop deliveries; rooftop delivery work requires physically working on rooftops to complete the job. The role also provides warehouse support as needed and requires all duties to be performed safely.

Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift 75–100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Adherence to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a CDL.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or job sites, including unloading and staging products as assigned.
• Perform all duties safely.
