About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a Delivery Material Handler/Roof Loader to assist with safe and accurate deliveries of building materials from the warehouse to job sites. The role involves unloading orders to customer specifications using delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers may specialize in ground or rooftop deliveries; rooftop assignments require physically working on rooftops. The position also provides warehouse support as needed and requires adherence to safety policies, including use of a safety harness and other required equipment. The listed pay rate is $23–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift 75–100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the complete shift.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Deliver products in vehicles that do not require a CDL.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Double-check loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with delivering materials to customers or job sites, including unloading and staging products at job sites as assigned.
• Perform all duties safely.
