About The Position

This role requires a Delivery Manager with Atlassian administration experience for a 2-year base term. The position prefers the ability to work onsite in the Sacramento, CA area. The role involves utilizing various project management methodologies, planning processes, and matrix-managing multidisciplinary teams. A key aspect is analyzing critical situations with customers, troubleshooting production environments using data, and defining project needs for resource allocation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering enterprise IT projects and products using agile methodologies, working closely with Product Owners to define roadmaps and translate them into user stories. This includes leading collaborative planning, prioritizing work based on team capacity and capability, and achieving goals within specified timelines. The role also emphasizes excellent customer service, leadership, logistics, resource planning, and building stakeholder relationships for scalable solutions. As a servant leader, the individual will work with multiple teams concurrently, removing impediments, identifying potential issues before they become risks, and closely monitoring deadlines, milestones, and KPIs for project success.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience utilizing various project management methodologies, planning processes, and matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
  • Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience analyzing critical situations with the customer and utilizing data to troubleshoot production environments.
  • Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience successfully delivering enterprise IT projects and products using the appropriate agile methodologies: learning and iterating frequently; working with the Product Owner to define the roadmap for any given product and translating this into user stories; leading the collaborative, dynamic planning process, prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team while achieving the goals in the specified timeline.
  • Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in excellent customer service, leadership, and logistics.
  • Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in a servant leader Role.
  • Experience in project management, resource planning, and building relationships with stakeholders to determine holistic, scalable solutions.
  • Experience working with multiple teams concurrently, removing impediments, and identifying issues before they become identified risks.
  • Experience keeping a close pulse on deadlines, milestones, drop-dead dates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) that must be achieved for the project/product to be successful in implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • Experience using Atlassian products and plug-ins (Jira, Confluence, Xray, GitHub, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive outcomes independently, identifying and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Skilled at anticipating project needs, removing obstacles, and aligning teams around shared goals through strategic foresight, ownership, and a results-oriented mindset.
