Key Responsibilities: Support multiple Fidessa trading systems Integrate Fidessa systems into the Bank’s technology stack Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates Work with BAs/PM and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements Onboard systems to DevOps CI/CD tools This role is hybrid and requires being onsite with the client at least 3 days a week in New York City.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of work experience
- Minimum 3 years of Fidessa server-side development experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA
- Minimum 1 year of experience with technologies including FIX protocol, TCL, Unix shell scripting, Linux, Windows 10
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment
- Minimum 1 year of front Office Development experience
- Associate’s Degree or higher
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of core Java development experience
- Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience
- FTW development a strong plus.
- Understanding of equities trading workflows and general equities market knowledge
- Excellent analytical, design, and system integration skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in parallel
- Takes ownership, pro-active individual with a strong interest to learn the business
- Enthusiastic towards completing a task
- Candidate should be able to work with little supervision
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
