About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, helping maintain a clean and stocked store, and distributing promotional materials. Team members receive training and support, and the position offers opportunities for career progression within Domino’s.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by telephone; ability to talk and hear on the telephone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work; most tasks are performed standing.
Ability to work around varying and sometimes adverse outdoor weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and place cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to carry large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces; occasionally carry pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds; and carry three pizza-dough trays at a time, approximately 12 pounds per tray.
Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, and basic maintenance.
Ability to push a stack of trays on a dolly, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force, and to bend and reach as required by stocking and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image to customers and drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
Know the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and build customer relationships.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Contribute to the make line by making pizzas, preparing dough, and preparing or restocking toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use Domino’s-issued equipment appropriately, and display, return, and store it at the end of each scheduled shift.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage as needed.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash, and assist with basic maintenance as needed.
