About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while projecting a positive image and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, restocking supplies, and helping keep the store clean. Team members may deliver leaflets and door hangers as required. The position offers training and support, flexible hours, opportunities to earn tips and mileage reimbursement, and potential for career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and over the phone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to distinguish between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and stack items on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including reaching, occasional bending, moving trays, and infrequently using stairs or a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, following traffic laws, and know the delivery area and its maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and process orders accurately.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile payments, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store Domino’s equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and stock product deliveries, including lifting and moving supplies as needed.
